This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

šŸ“‹ Description

• Proactively identify and track healthcare facilities that consistently produce high-quality, usable clinical documents (such as EHRs, discharge summaries, and procedure notes) to accurately pinpoint and quantify data gaps.

• Perform in-depth analyses by mapping and correlating facility-specific data from various sources, including structured claims, clinical care summaries (CCDAs), and ADT messages, to reveal systematic patterns of missingness, latency, or discrepancies in clinical records.

• Establish and uphold transparent reporting on ADT coverage across important geographic, organizational, and technological dimensions (for example, by county, facility, and underlying EMR system).

• Based on thorough analysis of data flow and quality, recommend and guide the implementation of optimal technical configurations for current data vendors (such as Bamboo Health, PCC, Experian, and HSX).

• Conduct extensive evaluations and proof-of-concepts for potential new data integration technologies (like Kno2 versus Particle Health) to assess their viability, quality enhancements, and strategic alignment.

• Systematically assess the existence and completeness of documentation associated with specific patient visits or encounters.

• Develop a data-driven framework to prioritize facility targets for direct data acquisition, evaluating impact, cost-effectiveness, and technical feasibility.

• Inform and influence vendor strategy concerning national initiatives such as TEFCA and QHIN adoption, ensuring Counterpart Health is positioned for compliant, high-quality data exchange.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers to define data requirements, with Engineers to implement reliable pipelines, and with Clinical teams to validate data quality and clinical utility.

• Serve as a vital liaison to identify and eliminate operational and technical bottlenecks, guaranteeing a predictable, scalable, and reliable clinical data flow across all customer markets.

ā›³ļø Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on data analytics experience, specifically in healthcare data interoperability.

• Strong practical experience with healthcare data standards, including HL7, CCDA, and ADT messages.

• Proficient in SQL and comfortable working with large, complex datasets (claims, clinical logs, interoperability data).

• Background in analyzing interoperability networks (such as Carequality, CommonWell, eHealthExchange) or HIE integrations.

• Skilled in data visualization and capable of presenting complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong investigative mindset, enjoying the process of understanding the ā€œwhyā€ behind missing data and diverging metrics.

• Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple analytical projects (like vendor comparisons and visit-level reconciliation) with minimal supervision.

• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with TEFCA/QHIN frameworks and developing national interoperability standards.

• Familiarity with vendor-specific data exchange platforms (for instance, Bamboo Health, HSX, Particle Health, Kno2).

• Background in value-based care, population health, or clinical data operations.

• Experience with claims-clinical data reconciliation (for example, matching EOBs to clinical encounter records).

• Comfortable working with Python or similar tools for data manipulation and automation.
