Data Analyst, Bulgarian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and enhance the quality of data for multilingual text classification systems.

• Collaborate with Linguistics and Engineering teams to create parsers for various languages.

• Translate taxonomies, which include Skills, Titles, and Occupations.

• Analyze and cleanse data utilizing Excel and other data analysis tools.

• Leverage expertise in language, data, and text analysis to ensure high-quality global data.

• Contribute to Lightcast's global data initiatives and provide top-notch data to clients in international markets.

⛳️ Requirements

• Required proficiency in reading and writing Bulgarian, along with a solid understanding of language syntax and structural analysis.

• A reliable laptop and internet connection are mandatory.

• A Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Data Analytics, Natural Language Processing (NLP), or a related discipline is preferred.

• Preference will be given to multilingual candidates, especially those fluent in Slovenian.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, including skills in VLOOKUPs, data cleaning, and various functions.

• Understanding of query languages such as SQL is essential.

• Advanced proficiency in writing rules using regular expressions (RegEx).

• Knowledge of text analysis or machine learning concepts is advantageous.

• Experience in data analysis with tools like Excel is required.

• Capability to perform repetitive, detail-oriented tasks with precision and consistency.

• Ability to adhere to complex instructions, manage ambiguity, and work autonomously.

• Strong organizational skills, a sense of urgency, and effective time management are essential.
