Data Analyst, Billing Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and uphold billing logic utilizing workflow automation tools for a variety of rate card frameworks.

• Diagnose upstream data quality problems that lead to discrepancies in billing charges.

• Recognize and document bugs, deficiencies, and feature requests within the billing system.

• Work in partnership with Product and Engineering teams to prioritize and execute system enhancements.

• Serve as a bridge between Finance/Billing and Product/Engineering departments.

• Convey billing requirements and deliver updates regarding system performance.

• Collaborate with Operations to identify and rectify manual data entry challenges.

• Enhance Unit of Measure (UoM) data for SKUs throughout the Stord network.

• Create scalable interim automation workflows to facilitate acquisitions and billing integrations.

• Examine billing data, uncover root causes, and promote accuracy and ongoing improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in roles such as Data Analyst, Business Analyst, System Administrator, Billing Associate, or other similar analytical positions.

• Preferably experienced in e-commerce, logistics, or supply chain sectors.

• Strong understanding of billing procedures and financial reporting.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capable of collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to derive significant insights.

• Ideally familiar with SQL, JSON data formats, BI tools, and other analytical software.

• Proficient in Excel.

• Possess problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork capabilities.

• Able to analyze data, articulate findings, and develop action plans for improvement.

• Must have authorization to work in the U.S.
