Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with stakeholders from Product, Engineering, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Support, Legal, and People Operations to uncover opportunities, assess performance, and enhance operational efficiency.

• Grasp business priorities and analytical requirements.

• Develop complex analyses and scalable reports to facilitate strategic initiatives and informed decision-making based on data.

• Visualize and present analytical findings to drive stakeholder action.

• Assist stakeholders in discovering new opportunities through data evaluation.

• Generate, track, review, and analyze reports and dashboards.

• Resolve reporting issues and perform root cause analyses.

• Leverage AI tools, LLMs, copilots, and workflow automation platforms to boost analytical productivity and create scalable business solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, economics, data science, computer science, or a related quantitative field.

• Master’s degree or a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in data handling, including the creation of complex datasets, reporting, profiling, and machine learning.

• Proficient SQL skills for data extraction and creating actionable datasets.

• Experience using Python for data processing and analytics.

• Capability to conduct analyses with minimal oversight.

• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Redash, Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.

• Ability to make significant decisions in a dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environment while adapting quickly to changing priorities.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities.

• Strong business acumen and communication skills.

• Proficient in English.

• Preferred: advanced degree in a quantitative field.

• Preferred: experience in optimizing operational and financial performance.

• Preferred: experience in payments, financial services, banking, fintech, or BNPL.

• A Wonderlic test (30-40 minutes) and a coding assessment (approximately 1.5 hours) will be part of the interview process.
