Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with stakeholders from Product, Engineering, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Support, Legal, and People Operations to discover opportunities, establish key metrics, evaluate performance, and enhance operational efficiency.

• Grasp the priorities and analytical needs of business teams.

• Develop advanced analyses and scalable reporting to support strategic initiatives and data-driven decision-making.

• Present and clarify analytics outcomes to prompt stakeholder action.

• Assist stakeholders in uncovering new opportunities through data analysis.

• Create, oversee, review, and analyze reports and dashboards.

• Resolve reporting and dashboard issues and perform root cause analyses.

• Leverage AI tools, such as LLMs, copilots, and workflow automation platforms, to enhance analytical productivity and create scalable business solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, economics, data science, computer science, or a related quantitative field.

• Master’s degree or a minimum of 3 years of professional experience with data, which includes creating complex datasets, reporting, profiling, and machine learning.

• Proficient SQL skills for data extraction and the creation of actionable datasets.

• Experience using Python for data processing and analytics.

• Capability to conduct analyses with minimal supervision.

• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Redash, Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.

• Ability to make significant decisions in a fast-paced, uncertain environment and quickly adapt to new priorities.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent business judgment and communication skills.

• Proficient in English.

• Preferred: advanced degree in a quantitative field.

• Preferred: experience in optimizing operational and financial performance.

• Preferred: background in payments, financial services, banking, fintech, or BNPL.

• Knowledge of Redshift, PostgreSQL, dbt, AWS, G Suite, Mac, Claude, and ChatGPT.

• Successful completion of a Wonderlic test, coding assessment, recruiter interviews, verbal case study interview, and verbal behavioral interview throughout the hiring process.
