Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Extract, query, and manipulate data using SQL from relational databases and cloud data warehouses.

• Analyze extensive transactional and consumer datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and business insights.

• Construct and sustain structured datasets that facilitate recurring reports and business analyses.

• Compute essential business metrics such as household penetration, market share, purchasing behavior, and category trends.

• Handle raw and semi-structured data, ensuring the cleaning and categorization of information as required.

• Validate data outputs and conduct quality checks to guarantee data accuracy and integrity.

• Work collaboratively with internal teams to meet reporting needs and address business inquiries through data.

• Convert complex datasets into clear conclusions and actionable recommendations.

⛳️ Requirements

• 0–4 years of experience in Data Analytics, Reporting, Business Intelligence, or similar analytical positions.

• Proficient in English (both written and spoken).

• Strong SQL expertise, including joins, filtering, aggregations, GROUP BY statements, and conditional logic.

• Familiarity with relational databases, table relationships, and data structures.

• Experience in handling large datasets and conducting data validation.

• Capability to identify trends, anomalies, and significant business insights from data.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Marketing, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
