This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile, +3 more countries.
• Design and develop the reporting framework from scratch, including establishing source connections, a central data layer, and utilizing Looker as the reporting interface.
• Choose and execute the ETL/ingestion method suitable for each source system.
• Create clean, well-documented data models.
• Transform monthly reporting into a review process rather than a mere data-entry task.
• Aggregate data from Shopify Plus, Pipedrive, QuickBooks Online, ShipStation, PandaDoc, Rippling, Google Analytics, and Asana.
• Define standard metrics and resolve discrepancies among systems.
• Identify data quality issues and collaborate with department heads to address them at the source.
• Manage the company-wide KPI framework and tracking system.
• Generate monthly performance reports for all nine departments spanning three brands.
• Analyze performance changes, identify key drivers, and highlight leadership priorities.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses for the executive team on profitability, customer segments, sales performance, and operational efficiency.
• Develop and sustain Looker dashboards.
• Compile a monthly executive reporting package.
• Present insights to the executive team on a monthly basis and to department teams regularly.
• Convert analysis into actionable recommendations.
• Thoroughly document every data source, definition, model, and process.
• Create scalable reporting solutions as the company expands its departments, brands, and acquisitions.
• Suggest and apply enhancements to the data infrastructure.
• 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics engineering roles.
• Proficient in SQL.
• Practical experience in building or overseeing a cloud data warehouse (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or similar).
• Experience in implementing ETL/ingestion from SaaS APIs—such as Fivetran, Airbyte, or their equivalents.
• Proven track record of creating dashboards in Looker or Looker Studio from the ground up, including the underlying data model.
• Advanced skills in spreadsheet applications.
• Established ability to communicate data insights to non-analysts and present findings to executives.
• Fluent in English, possessing clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Preferred: Experience with e-commerce and CRM data, especially with Shopify and sales CRMs like Pipedrive.
• Preferred: Familiarity with accounting data and financial concepts such as margin, COGS, and contribution.
• Preferred: Proficiency in Python or a similar language for data manipulation and automation.
• Preferred: Background at a small company where you managed reporting processes from start to finish.
• Preferred: Experience integrating data from an acquired company into an existing reporting framework.
