This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to collect and comprehend data and business requirements.

• Utilize Python to transform and cleanse data (knowledge of SQL is an advantage).

• Conduct exploratory data analysis to detect trends, patterns, and anomalies.

• Contribute to the development and implementation of data models and algorithms.

• Analyze and interpret intricate datasets to extract key metrics and provide statistical insights, presenting findings effectively.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a foundational understanding of statistics and data interpretation.

• Essential proficiency in Python, Google Sheets, and Excel; SQL knowledge is a plus.

• Experience with data warehouse platforms like Snowflake, Amazon Athena, or Google BigQuery is a plus.

• Motivated self-starter with a keen interest in learning and advancing within the data domain.

• Comfortable in a fast-paced setting and able to adapt swiftly to changes.

• Passionate about e-commerce, demonstrating robust communication and collaboration skills.

• A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, etc.) is preferred but not mandatory.
