Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in implementing large-scale direct voter contact (DVC) initiatives across various modes and platforms — including mail, SMS, and digital — ensuring that voter databases are accurate, well-organized, and ready for deployment.

• Develop and uphold clean, well-documented data tables for analysis and universe creation, facilitating the program's capacity to effectively target and engage voters at scale.

• Contribute to the program's research and learning agenda by adhering to defined treatment and control group criteria and ensuring audience segments align with A/B testing standards.

• Aid in the identification and prioritization of voting locations for Party at the Polls activities, utilizing data to inform geographic decision-making.

• Offer analytical support across Civic Nation teams during a high-demand season, which includes:

• Collaborating on reports and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.

• Providing timely analyses of program performance.

• Creating automated processes and dashboards that deliver real-time insights and minimize manual data handling.

• Performing other reasonable and related tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in an analyst role (including internships), or substantial quantitative coursework in statistics, economics, modeling, regression analysis, or programming.

• Proficiency in SQL is essential.

• Familiarity with R or Python, BigQuery, and Google Data Studio is preferred.

• Experience with natural language processing (NLP) is advantageous.
