Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and document a framework for measuring the impact of Get Out The Vote (GOTV) outreach, which includes registration, turnout, and engagement.

• Analyze the performance of Facebook Messenger and SMS campaigns, focusing on timing, messaging, and audience segmentation.

• Conduct analysis of voter file matching to assess the effectiveness of outreach efforts.

• Create and maintain Looker Studio dashboards for internal teams and external partners.

• Generate ongoing reports during GOTV periods to track performance and highlight actionable insights.

• Produce a detailed post-GOTV analysis that summarizes outcomes, insights, and recommendations.

• Convert complex data into clear narratives and visual representations for both internal stakeholders and external partners.

• Collaborate with internal team members to define necessary data inputs and ensure data collection aligns with measurement objectives.

• Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities to enhance future GOTV strategies and data practices.

• Provide support for ad hoc analysis requests and data inquiries from internal teams as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in data systems management, including BigQuery, Looker Studio, and statistical models.

• Experience with voter file matching and metrics related to civic engagement is preferred.

• A demonstrated commitment to social justice and social change, particularly with communities of color.

• Creative problem-solving skills to devise innovative solutions for data-related challenges.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and consistently meet deadlines.
