Data Abstractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide exceptional solutions to healthcare partners nationwide

• Classify, code, summarize, interpret, and compute registry/case information from patient medical records

• Ensure the accurate submission of all data in designated registries or data repositories

• Maintain a high accuracy standard while meeting tight deadlines across multiple tasks

• Resolve technical issues related to systems and applications

• Contribute to team best practices, abstraction guidelines, and identify opportunities for process improvement

• Stay informed about mandated regulatory/publicly reported data requirements

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess direct clinical data abstraction experience within the MBSAQIP registry within the past year

• Hold an active MBSCR certification

• Familiarity with various patient medical record systems (EMRs) and clinical databases

• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Microsoft Excel)

• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities

• Exhibits high standards for accuracy and attention to detail

• Shows technical proficiency and a keen interest in learning new systems and technologies

• Excels in working independently and takes ownership of projects/patient records

• Communicates consistently and clearly, adapting style and tone as necessary
