Dance Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Deliver support, instruction, and collaboration for students.

• Evaluate and grade student learning logs, offering prompt and actionable feedback to enhance student progress.

• Engage with students synchronously in one-on-one, small-group, or large-group formats.

• Mentor and provide tutoring for students enrolled in designated courses.

• Develop captivating lessons, activities, or learning experiences.

• Customize resources and support to address the unique needs of each student.

• Identify students at risk and coordinate suitable intervention strategies.

• Communicate with parents to offer guidance and assistance.

• Attend IEP meetings as required and collaborate with pertinent stakeholders.

• Work together with fellow teachers to share knowledge and support students throughout the program.

• Support a designated group of students while also undertaking additional responsibilities across the program based on team and student requirements.

• Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and team-focused environment aimed at promoting student success.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid teaching certification in Texas, including a Dance endorsement.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong belief that each child is unique and benefits from tailored learning approaches.

• Kind, organized, patient, and a reliable communicator.

• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Forms, etc.).

• Confidence in learning various online tools, systems, and programs.

• Capability to work independently and adhere to deadlines with minimal supervision.

• Access to a smartphone, high-speed internet, computer, and webcam.

• Eligible to work in the U.S. (can reside and work from any pre-approved location).
