This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Dakota.
• Overseeing, directing, and executing the overall safe operation, maintenance, and performance of RNG plants.
• Addressing complex issues and serving as a key authority across multiple plants.
• Collaborating with senior management to develop and implement comprehensive plans and policies.
• Self-driven and capable of proactively leading both people and issues while supporting the designated region.
• Assisting in the planning and scheduling of routine maintenance for plant equipment.
• Reviewing work schedules, assignments, and rotations for RNG Plant Technicians.
• Partnering with company management to establish and maintain the annual operating budget for the plants under supervision.
• Ensuring all employees receive appropriate training for their respective roles.
• Reviewing and approving employee timesheets and expense reimbursements.
• Offering employees transparent and timely feedback along with mentoring on their performance.
• Conducting performance evaluations for employees.
• Assessing operations, maintenance, and overall facility performance.
• Executing equipment testing and devising action plans to enhance performance.
• Planning and executing special projects aimed at improving service quality.
• Monitoring plant performance to ensure compliance with Company and Industry standards.
• Adhering to state and federal laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures.
• 7-10 years of experience in plant operations and maintenance within a RNG plant, power plant, or other chemical processing facilities.
• A minimum of 4 years in a management role or demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven track record in planning and coordinating projects with the capacity to make timely and sound decisions.
• A creative, adaptable, and innovative team player.
• Familiarity with gas flow, instrumentation (4-20mA signals), PLC systems, and mechanical repair skills.
• Ability to work under varying weather conditions, climb ladders, access confined spaces, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be willing to travel up to 75% of the time and prioritize travel and decisions based on the needs of the plants.
