This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the IT Manufacturing sector for Barry-Wehmiller’s global Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations initiative.

• Evaluate, investigate, strategize, and design solutions within the Manufacturing sector.

• Collaborate with Architects to ensure a cohesive and integrated systems design.

• Offer architectural and application expertise throughout the phases of blueprinting, development, testing, implementation, rollouts, and ongoing support.

• Regulate design standards, standard system configurations, and manufacturing workflows.

• Assess requests for system alterations and collaborate with Solutions Analysts and the CoE to approve, amend, or deny changes.

• Work alongside external vendors and partners to enhance the technical framework.

• Establish, adhere to, and document design methodologies, including thorough testing protocols.

• Support users in testing and adopting process enhancements.

• Assist in resolving Tier 3 D365 system issues through corrective actions.

• Generate documentation that supports changes in processes.

• Create training materials or standard operating procedures as necessary.

• Provide project assistance for new implementations and rollouts.

• Promote continuous process enhancements.

• Assist the systems architecture team with major software upgrades.

• Coordinate domain development with the Architects group and Business Leadership.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience leading architecture, configuration, and development for the D365 Finance & Operations Manufacturing Systems domain within a multinational setting.

• Extensive experience in Production Planning (MRP/MPS), Capacity Planning/Leveling, Production Scheduling, and Manufacturing Order Management.

• Familiarity with production floor execution, kitting, and raw material staging.

• Knowledge of Product/Job Costing is essential.

• Experience in Demand/Supply Planning is an advantage.

• Background in discrete, engineer-to-order capital equipment manufacturing sectors is preferred.

• Proven experience with the complete ERP implementation cycle, from needs assessment to rollout and stabilization.

• Direct experience in leveraging and integrating enterprise-level ERP, Business Intelligence, and consolidation systems.

• Knowledge in systems governance and the establishment of development processes and controls.

• Proficiency in SaaS-based systems is desirable.

• Experience with Bluestar Axtension, Docentric AX, or similar document-generation tools is preferred.

• A certification as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Manufacturing professional is preferred but not mandatory.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Power BI.

• Ability to research and identify suitable technologies and partners.

• Strong business acumen for evaluating options and vendors.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Capability to collaborate across various IT platforms to resolve business challenges.

• Experience in influencing cross-functional teams without formal authority.

• Proven experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing team members.

• Must be able, available, and willing to work over 40 hours per week, including both scheduled and unscheduled overtime.

• Moderate domestic travel and occasional international travel required.
