Cybersecurity Systems Engineer – CAASM, Armis

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Implement, configure, and optimize Armis (or similar CAASM platforms) across hybrid cloud and enterprise settings.

• Integrate and manage data sources from CMDBs, EDR/XDR, vulnerability feeds, cloud inventories, identity, network, and SaaS platforms.

• Create and sustain automation scripts and workflow connectors (Python, PowerShell, Bash) to improve data ingestion and normalization.

• Develop normalization, correlation, and enrichment logic that transforms raw telemetry into authoritative asset intelligence.

• Oversee data quality, diagnose integration challenges, and address engineering escalations.

• Assist with platform optimization, performance enhancement, and operational reliability.

• Set up dashboards, reports, and risk views that present asset and exposure data for both technical and stakeholder audiences.

• Generate and maintain documentation for deployment architectures, configuration standards, and operational procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years in cybersecurity engineering, systems integration, or IT infrastructure roles (candidates with more experience are encouraged to apply).

• Practical experience with Armis or a comparable CAASM / asset intelligence platform (e.g., Axonius).

• In-depth knowledge of IT systems, including Windows, Linux, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).

• Familiarity with APIs, data ingestion processes, RESTful integration, and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash).

• Understanding of networking fundamentals and security principles (asset discovery, vulnerability context, normalization).

• Capability to resolve complex technical issues and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent experience or relevant certifications.
