Cybersecurity Engineer – Tenable, Splunk

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and sustain Tenable vulnerability management solutions.

• Conduct vulnerability assessments, analyses, prioritization, and reporting.

• Set up, monitor, and enhance Splunk dashboards, searches, alerts, and reports.

• Examine security logs and probe into suspicious activities.

• Assist with incident response and security investigations.

• Work in partnership with IT and security teams to address identified vulnerabilities.

• Create and maintain documentation related to security operations and vulnerability management.

• Aid in fulfilling compliance and security reporting obligations.

• Propose enhancements to fortify the organization's security posture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in administering or supporting Tenable products (Tenable.sc, Tenable.io, or Nessus).

• Proficiency in utilizing Splunk Enterprise for log analysis, dashboard development, and alerting.

• Comprehensive understanding of the vulnerability management lifecycle.

• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, network security, and security monitoring.

• Experience in analyzing system logs from Windows and Linux.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to operate independently in a remote setting.
