Cybersecurity Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop tools, automation solutions, and infrastructure that facilitate scalable adversarial testing of AI systems and applications.

• Create and sustain realistic, repeatable security testing environments utilizing cloud infrastructure and automation tools like Terraform.

• Work in tandem with red team members and engineers to replicate, investigate, and address vulnerabilities identified during AI security evaluations.

• Design and automate attack simulations to assess security controls, uncover potential failure points, and enhance the resilience of AI-driven systems.

• Perform threat modeling and security design evaluations for new systems and features.

• Collaborate closely with software engineers to embed security practices throughout the development lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in Cybersecurity, Security Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.

• Proven experience with Python programming.

• Experience utilizing git/github in a collaborative setting.

• Background in building or securing cloud environments with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Strong knowledge of Linux systems, networking, and contemporary web technologies.

• Experience in automating cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform preferred).

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and various virtualization technology stacks.

• Understanding of large language models (LLMs), AI systems, or concepts related to AI security.

• Proven hands-on experience in conducting penetration tests, red team assessments, adversary emulation, or similar offensive security activities.

• Solid understanding of authentication, authorization, and prevalent web security vulnerabilities.

• Exceptional debugging and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
