This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Facilitate the integration of core security and technology services with teams focused on infrastructure, technology, security, and acquisition targets during the processes of acquisitions or divestitures.
• Create, document, and implement secure design patterns for collaborations with strategic alliance partners.
• Formulate new security playbooks and services centered on business alliances and strategic acquisitions.
• Act as the primary liaison between security and technical/business teams.
• Oversee design and advisory tasks across various information security domains for acquisitions and research initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal research, business intelligence, technical, and information security teams to develop and deliver security products and services.
• Influence the services provided by the mergers and acquisitions security program.
• Ensure that ongoing acquisitions receive timely and appropriate security services.
• Collaborate within the security architecture team while maintaining a dotted-line relationship with the cybersecurity threat intelligence team.
• Bachelor's Degree with 7 years of experience OR Master's Degree with 6 years of experience OR PhD with 2 years of experience.
• Hands-on experience in a relevant area of security architecture, such as Cloud Security, AppSec, Network Security, Identity, or Operational Technology.
• Proven experience in designing and effectively implementing practical security solutions.
• Direct experience in designing or delivering solutions associated with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and/or multi-company collaborations.
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, Azure, and their respective security solutions.
• Knowledge of M365 and Slack.
• Understanding of Active Directory and related security constructs, including domains, forests, and trusts.
• Knowledge of industry security standards like NIST 800 and ISO 27001.
• Experience in an information security role, preferably as a Security Architect or Security Engineer.
• Proficient with various security tools and capabilities, including both self-hosted and cloud environments.
• GCFE, GCFA, GDSA, GCTI, GCIA, GCDA, or GEIR certifications are highly preferred.
• Additional technical/industry certifications such as SANS or AWS are preferred.
