This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and technology teams, security teams, and acquisition target teams to facilitate core security and technology services during acquisitions or divestitures.
• Create, document, and implement secure design patterns for partnerships with strategic alliance partners.
• Develop new security playbooks and services aimed at business alliances and strategic acquisitions.
• Serve as the primary liaison between security and technical and business teams.
• Oversee design and advisory roles across information security teams for acquisitions and research initiatives.
• Engage with internal research, business intelligence, technical, and information security teams to create and deliver security products and services.
• Influence the services provided by the mergers and acquisitions security program.
• Ensure that ongoing acquisitions receive appropriate security services at the correct times.
• Collaborate within the security architecture team while maintaining a dotted-line relationship with the cybersecurity threat intelligence team.
• Bachelor's Degree with 7 years of experience OR Master's Degree with 6 years of experience OR PhD with 2 years of experience.
• Hands-on experience in a relevant security architecture discipline, such as Cloud Security, AppSec, Network Security, Identity, or Operational Technology.
• Capability to discuss practical security solutions that have been designed and successfully executed.
• Direct experience in designing and/or delivering solutions related to mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and/or multi-company collaborations.
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, and Azure along with their associated security solutions.
• Knowledge of M365 and Slack.
• Understanding of Active Directory and related security constructs, including domains, forests, and trusts.
• Comprehensive knowledge of industry security standards, such as NIST 800 and ISO 27001.
• Preferred: 5 years of experience in an information security role, ideally as a Security Architect or Security Engineer.
• Experience with a range of security tools and capabilities, preferably including operational exposure in both self-hosted and cloud environments.
• GCFE, GCFA, GDSA, GCTI, GCIA, GCDA, or GEIR certifications are highly preferred.
• Relevant technical/industry certifications, such as SANS or AWS, are preferred.
