Cyber Security Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Conduct investigations into advanced and persistent threats utilizing data analysis and data science tools.

• Examine customer web traffic to identify undiscovered threats and minimize false positives with Elasticsearch and BigQuery.

• Research, develop, and continually refine detection mechanisms.

• Offer real-time technical assistance to customers globally.

• Provide professional and prompt incident responses.

• Create clear and insightful incident reports.

• Work collaboratively with R&D and Research teams to enhance detection and mitigation capabilities.

• Design, plan, and execute internal automation initiatives.

• Operate on a shift-based schedule, including weekends.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in data analysis within the cybersecurity or fraud detection sectors.

• Proficiency with logs and dashboards.

• Strong SQL expertise, encompassing complex queries, aggregations, GROUP BY, ORDER BY, filters, window functions, CTEs, and subqueries.

• Technical knowledge of web technologies and client-server architecture, including APIs, HTTP, and basic HTML/JavaScript.

• Familiarity with SIEM systems.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience in customer support and direct client interactions.

• Strong English communication skills.

• Knowledge of Python and JavaScript would be advantageous.

• Experience with BigQuery or Snowflake would be a plus.

• Proficiency in creating dashboards using BI tools would be beneficial.
