• Offer expert advice on customs regulations, compliance strategies, and opportunities for trade optimization.

• Develop and nurture strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor for their customs requirements.

• Recognize new business prospects, contribute to sales strategies, and create proposals to enhance our consultancy services.

• Keep abreast of UK, EU, and international customs regulations, ensuring clients stay compliant and mitigate risks.

• Collaborate with clients to streamline their customs and trade operations, promoting efficiencies and cost savings.

• Track industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to maintain ALS's competitive edge.

• Over 5 years of experience in customs consultancy or a related area (international trade, customs brokerage, or supply chain management).

• Comprehensive understanding of UK and EU customs regulations, trade procedures, and compliance standards.

• Familiarity with special customs procedures (like Inward Processing, Outward Processing, and Customs Warehousing) is advantageous.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret intricate regulatory requirements.

• Strong communication and presentation skills – capable of simplifying and elucidating technical customs concepts for clients.

• Proficient in advanced Excel functions (Power Query, PowerPivot, pivot tables, data analysis).

• Excellent organizational and project management capabilities.

• Capacity to work autonomously in a remote setting while effectively collaborating with the broader team.
