This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
• Accurately classify new US import items using HTS codes and prepare binding ruling requests for products that require guidance from Customs.
• Assist in the US import compliance strategy by managing classification data, maintaining broker communications, tracking KPIs, and supporting related compliance programs.
• Ensure timely and precise import clearance by collaborating with customs brokers, US Customs, and internal partners for accurate entry filings.
• Provide advice to QRG brands and stakeholders on matters related to customs compliance, including classification, FTAs, FDA product codes, and other agency requirements.
• Conduct audits of customs entries and address post-entry issues, which include making corrections, following up with brokers, and responding to inquiries from Customs such as CF28/29.
• Participate in duty savings initiatives and special projects through tariff engineering, free trade programs, regulatory research, SOP development, and ad hoc analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• LCB or CCS certification is a plus.
• Experience with SAP S4 is a plus.
• Familiarity with HTSUS classification is essential.
• Understanding of 19 CFR regulations is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is necessary.
