Customs Clearance Analyst – On-Site

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete import processes, starting from the creation of documentation to the delivery of goods at the Distribution Center.

• Serve as the primary contact for overseeing and controlling Foreign Trade operations, ensuring visibility of shipments and compliance with deadlines.

• Monitor the operational flow involving suppliers, freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and internal departments.

• Ensure compliance of documentation with corporate policies and relevant laws.

• Track critical events, identify operational discrepancies, and manage exceptions while proposing solutions to mitigate risks.

• Evaluate performance indicators (KPIs), transit durations, logistics expenses, and overall operational efficiency.

• Facilitate communication among various internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and swift decision-making.

• Assist in monitoring payments associated with Foreign Trade expenses.

• Guarantee the proper receipt of imported goods and the flow of tax/fiscal data within corporate systems.

• Recognize opportunities for continuous improvement, contributing to enhanced efficiency and control over operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in Import operations, Foreign Trade, or Control Tower.

• Familiarity with monitoring international end-to-end processes.

• Knowledge of import procedures, customs documentation, and international logistics.

• Experience in operational monitoring, exception management, and tracking performance metrics.

• Strong analytical abilities for data interpretation, trend analysis, and decision-making support.

• Experience in coordinating multiple stakeholders in dynamic and multicultural settings.

• Ability to prioritize tasks, address problems, and act with a sense of urgency.

• Excellent communication and relationship management skills with clients, suppliers, and logistics partners.

• Advanced or fluent English (required).

• Advanced or fluent Spanish (required).
