Customer Support – Higher Education – Seasonal

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nigeria, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver customer support to students, parents, and faculty via inbound calls and emails.

• Serve as the approachable and informed voice representing the educational services provider’s mission.

• Assist customers with inquiries related to textbooks, course materials, campus bookstores, and branded retail offerings.

• Conduct basic troubleshooting as needed.

• Manage multiple applications concurrently during customer interactions.

• Commit to a minimum of 25 hours per week, including 8 self-scheduled hours on Saturday and/or Sunday.

• Operate within production hours from Monday to Sunday, between 4 AM and 7 PM PDT.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated customer support experience with a strong passion for service.

• Proficient tech-savvy problem-solving capabilities.

• Competence in performing basic troubleshooting.

• Genuine interest in campus culture and school identity.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.

• Skill in managing multiple applications simultaneously.

• Experience with Zendesk is preferred.

• Access to a dedicated computer running Windows 11 or a newer version.

• Minimum of 16 GB RAM required.

• Must have a wired Ethernet internet connection with at least 50 Mbps download speed.

• Willingness to install ModSquad’s security software and 2FA application.

• Readiness to install client administrative tools.

• Availability of a webcam or smartphone for photo verification purposes.

• Minimum commitment of 25 hours per week, including 8 self-scheduled weekend hours.

• Candidates must reside in one of the designated remote locations, excluding California, Colorado, New York, or Washington.
