This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.
• Enthusiastic about customer engagement and providing impactful solutions.
• Tackle complex technical challenges faced by organizations, proactively identifying and resolving issues before they affect the customer.
• Advise account team members and customers on the best practices for utilizing the Splunk Platform.
• Offer suggestions for enhancing a customer’s overall technical health.
• Provide strategic, case-based technical consulting services for a duration of up to 90 days.
• Work collaboratively with internal resources and customer-facing teams to address customer requirements.
• Conduct thorough research from multiple sources, consistently finding answers to questions and solving intricate technical problems.
• Engage in consultative discussions with decision-makers to assess and establish the potential benefits of resolving business challenges.
• Facilitate customer onboarding workshops and help achieve significant success milestones.
• Contribute to practice KPIs through enhancements in processes and collateral, tool development, and implementation.
• Multiple years of experience in administering and utilizing Splunk Core (Enterprise/Cloud).
• In-depth knowledge of Splunk architecture, data onboarding, and features of the Splunk Core product.
• Proficient in SPL (Search Processing Language) is crucial.
• Extensive experience in technical consulting or big-data analytics.
• Strong comprehension of common enterprise applications.
• Skills in statistical and analytical modeling are advantageous.
• Proficient in scripting languages (bash), application development (Java, Python, .NET), databases, and analytical tools.
• Practical experience with the implementation of Splunk products and Splunk Cloud.
• Familiarity with cloud migration projects.
• Completed Mastering Splunk Data Management Techniques training and experienced in implementing Splunk Data Management solutions, including Edge Processor, Ingest Processor, DDAA, and Federated Search.
• Certified as a Splunk Consultant and in Splunk Cloud Administration.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
