This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Develop robust relationships with customers and comprehend their requirements.
• Act as a strategic collaborator with wind and solar asset owners, operators, and internal stakeholders.
• Serve as the main point of contact between clients and departments such as Inspection Services, Finance, Sales, Engineering, and Marketing.
• Organize meetings between customers and various internal teams.
• Grasp, interpret, and implement customer contracts, which include NDAs and project timelines.
• Review and execute proposals for existing clients requiring emergency inspection services.
• Maintain and update Salesforce records and sales reports.
• Conduct web demonstrations to inform customers about product functionalities.
• Identify operational challenges and connect clients with upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Understand, prepare, and present customer reports.
• Consistently engage with Priority 2 and 3 customers.
• Travel up to 2% and participate in meetings at the Ann Arbor headquarters twice a year.
• Attend team meetings primarily in the US Eastern timezone if working remotely.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Customer Success.
• Strong critical thinking abilities and independent problem-solving skills.
• Capability to analyze, evaluate, and interpret information in an objective manner.
• Proficient in navigating challenging conversations and resolving customer issues constructively.
• Excellent active listening capabilities.
• Dedicated to high-quality customer service and adept at resolving customer complaints.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to recognize personal errors.
• Skilled in public speaking.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in a startup or tech environment is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
• Background in wind or renewable energy is beneficial.
• Must be currently residing in the United States.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States for this employer now and in the future without visa sponsorship.
• Available for standard Monday–Friday core hours, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM.
• Open to occasional evening customer calls.
• Willing to participate in a once-a-month weekend on-call rotation from 8:00 AM–5:00 PM during assigned weekends, with a laptop and cell phone active.
• Eligibility for discretionary annual bonuses.
• Option to work remotely or from the SkySpecs Ann Arbor headquarters, based on candidate location and preference.
• Flexible schedule for occasional evening customer calls.
• Flexible schedule for work tasks arising during assigned on-call weekends.
• Up to 2% travel, including visits to the Ann Arbor headquarters twice a year.
