This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Configure customer accounts; tailor backup policies and storage solutions; assist with onboarding; guide stakeholders; navigate admin portals; present support channels.
• Discover migration opportunities; assess usage and environment; facilitate success planning and strategy discussions; align business objectives with product engagement.
• Perform assessments; create protection strategies; suggest software products and architectures within the Veeam Data Platform.
• Conduct recovery simulations; utilize the Veeam Data Resilience Maturity Model (DRMM) to monitor and report on resilience status; provide quarterly resilience updates.
• Monitor indicators to identify churn risks early; devise mitigation strategies; collaborate on renewal approaches with actionable technical insights.
• Develop business cases; determine total cost of ownership (TCO); communicate value propositions for growth; arrange checkpoint reviews with stakeholders.
• Engage with CISO/CIO stakeholders by providing clear updates on risks, status, and opportunities; support context for executive discussions and alignment on roadmaps.
• Collaborate on marketing-informed initiatives and strategies to enhance adoption and growth.
• Utilize a long-term account assignment model linked to annual recurring revenue (ARR) and growth potential, typically managing 5–50 Enterprise and Commercial-Named accounts with $100K+ ARR.
• Take ownership of the technical success plan and adoption roadmap; influence pricing, commercial terms, and renewal conditions in collaboration with Sales and Customer Success leadership.
• 5+ years of experience in customer-facing engineering roles concentrated on data backup and recovery (e.g., Technical Consulting, Pre-Sales SE, Technical Account Manager).
• Proficiency in English at an advanced level.
• Practical expertise across operating systems, virtualization, storage, scripting/automation, cloud platforms, and disaster recovery and resilience best practices.
• Significant experience in designing and implementing protection plans, migrations, and recovery simulations.
• VMCE certification is required (can be obtained post-hire within an agreed timeframe).
• Preferred industry certifications include AWS Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional) and Microsoft Azure Administrator or Solutions Architect Expert.
• Demonstrated ability to convert business outcomes into technical adoption roadmaps and measurable value.
• Skills in engaging executive stakeholders (CISO/CIO) with the capability to synthesize technical, business, and risk indicators into clear recommendations.
• Strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.
