This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Serve as the main contact for property owners concerning vegetation management operations near utility infrastructure.
• Engage with property owners to secure approval for tree trimming, pruning, and vegetation clearing in line with regulatory guidelines such as PRC 4292 and company policies.
• Inform property owners about the significance of vegetation management in preserving the reliability and safety of electrical infrastructure.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to organize vegetation management tasks based on approved consent documents.
• Use scheduling software to update records and inform crews when work is ready to commence.
• Ensure precise documentation of customer consent forms and related correspondence in adherence to regulatory standards.
• Address customer questions and concerns swiftly and professionally, escalating issues as necessary to ensure prompt resolution.
• Report any safety issues immediately to team leaders or relevant personnel, promoting a culture of open communication.
• Work with cross-functional teams to enhance the processes for consent acquisition and improve customer satisfaction.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education or training in customer service or related fields is advantageous.
• Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
• Prior experience in customer service or customer relations, ideally within the utility or vegetation management sectors.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, capable of effectively engaging with a variety of stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational capabilities and attention to detail, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements concerning vegetation management near utility infrastructure is preferred.
• Competence in using essential software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Proficiency in map reading and GPS navigation.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
• Capability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Willingness to travel to different job sites.
