• Respond to incoming customer service calls and conduct some outbound follow-up calls in a professional and service-oriented manner. Ensure calls are answered promptly without any drops or abandons.
• Identify the purpose of the call and assist the caller with their inquiries, concerns, or issues, aiming for first-call resolution. Facilitate resolution by connecting the caller with the relevant issue or content expert. If necessary, escalate the issue to a supervisor, request the appropriate information, or take the necessary actions to enable the expert to effectively resolve the matter.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Completion of high school education or equivalent.
• 1 to 2 years of prior experience in an inbound call center and/or customer service setting; experience or knowledge of hospital patient account billing and third-party reimbursements from insurance companies and government payers is advantageous.
