This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Respond to incoming customer service calls concerning patient accounting inquiries.
• Conduct outbound follow-up calls on outstanding accounts receivable when the volume of inbound calls is low.
• Answer calls swiftly and professionally to minimize call drops or abandonments.
• Identify the reasons for callers’ inquiries and provide assistance with their questions, concerns, or issues.
• Prioritize first-call resolution and facilitate solutions through expert resources.
• Escalate issues to supervisors, request necessary information, or take action to aid resolution.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of previous experience in an inbound call center and/or customer service setting.
• Experience with hospital patient account billing or knowledge of third-party reimbursements from insurance companies and government payers is advantageous.
• Outstanding customer service, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities.
• Professional demeanor, calming tone, and proficiency in the English language.
• Ability to facilitate discussions and comprehend customer concerns.
• Capability to work independently, adapt flexibly, and think creatively.
• Skill in de-escalating calls while preserving caller confidence.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage challenging personalities.
• Understanding of reimbursement elements related to managed healthcare contracts.
• Strong listening skills.
• Ability to clearly communicate responses utilizing appropriate voice modulation.
• Capability to remain seated at a computer terminal for extended durations.

• The position may qualify for a signing bonus for eligible new hires, depending on employment status.
