• Support student loan borrowers with their account questions, repayment alternatives, and application procedures.
• Manage both incoming and outgoing calls in a dynamic, high-volume contact center setting.
• Deliver precise, professional, and compassionate customer assistance.
• Adhere to federal regulations, company policies, and data security protocols.
• Achieve key performance metrics and quality assurance benchmarks.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Possess a High School diploma or GED.
• Have at least 6 months of customer service experience in a business or non-retail environment, or call center experience.
• Have a minimum of 6 months of experience with computers in a business context.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote).
• Must reside within 75 miles of Hendersonville, TN.
• Capability to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust (5c) security clearance (financial and credit history will be assessed).
• Must not be in default on federal student loans.
• Exhibit financial responsibility.
• No felony convictions within the last 7 years.
• Misdemeanor convictions within the last 7 years may affect eligibility.
• No non-medical collections amounting to $7,500 or more.
• Health & Welfare Pay: An additional $5.09 per hour (up to 40 hours per week), which can completely cover employee-only medical, dental, and vision premiums.
