This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
β’ Accountable for the installation, repair, and maintenance of our manufactured instruments throughout the UK.
β’ Skillfully diagnoses and resolves customer instrument issues independently, ensuring precise and effective service.
β’ Provides operational training to customers, primarily during installation, to guarantee the safe and efficient usage of instruments.
β’ Ensures high levels of customer satisfaction by meeting service expectations and delivering timely documentation.
β’ Offers remote assistance via PC and phone, travels extensively as necessary, and contributes to helpdesk and training activities.
β’ Responsible for managing company assets, including spare parts, tools, vehicles, and software.
β’ Qualifications in Electronics or Chemistry at HND level, or equivalent.
β’ Proven experience working on customer sites.
β’ Experience in a customer field service environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
β’ Familiarity with X-Ray based scientific instrumentation is a plus.
β’ Previous experience in a customer field service environment is preferred.
β’ A current, full UK driving licence is required for extensive travel throughout the UK to service instruments at customer locations, which may include overnight stays.
