This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Acquire and manage authorizations for reorder requests.
• Address patient inquiries and guarantee accurate processing of reorders via phone, documentation handling, and validation of medical records.
• Ensure that patients possess all necessary medical documentation to facilitate the billing of assigned services.
• Enhance the patient base through retention strategies and cross-selling over the phone.
• Manage incoming and outgoing calls from patients’ healthcare providers and referral sources to ensure satisfaction, resolve new and ongoing patient issues, add services, and verify and clarify insurance coverage to patients.
• Review supply configurations based on supporting documentation, formulary standards, and manufacturer capabilities.
• Uphold a solid understanding of medical documentation, insurance requirements, and company policies.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality due to access to sensitive information.
• Exhibit regular, dependable attendance and be adaptable to fulfill departmental needs.
• A minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Proficient in computer skills, including strong typing abilities and accurate data entry while demonstrating attentive listening skills.
• Strong attention to detail, multitasking abilities, communication, and organizational skills are crucial.
• Excellent phone and email communication etiquette.
