Customer Service

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Accurately process customer orders, purchase orders, amendments, emails, and associated documentation.

• Handle customer inquiries via calls, correspondence, and E-store chats, addressing questions and resolving concerns.

• Offer product or technical support to customers.

• Cultivate relationships with existing and potential customers while identifying pertinent sales opportunities.

• Create proposals and quotes, recommending products based on customer needs.

• Manage payment terms in accordance with established guidelines.

• Keep records of customers, transactions, and follow-ups in the company's systems.

• Collaborate with sales teams, suppliers, customers, and internal departments to troubleshoot issues and arrange for sample submissions or inspections.

• Generate reports and adhere to established safety and operational procedures.

• Recognize opportunities to enhance customer care processes, improving both accuracy and efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or an equivalent qualification.

• Proven experience in supporting customers via phone, email, chat, or other customer service channels.

• Proficient in processing orders, quotes, purchase orders, and customer records accurately using computer-based systems.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Practical skills in math, analysis, and problem-solving.

• Ability to organize tasks, manage time effectively, and prioritize while juggling multiple requests and administrative duties.

• Good judgment, accountability, and meticulous attention to detail.
