This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• In this position, you will take the initiative in addressing customer inquiries and concerns regarding all products and services through communication channels such as phone, email, and chat.
• Manage high volumes of incoming calls efficiently.
• Demonstrate the ability to operate without a script while maintaining control during calls.
• Identify customer needs, clarify information, research, and provide solutions or alternatives.
• Utilize company and client resources provided to accurately manage the call.
• Spot upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
• Actively engage in efforts to enhance customer satisfaction and uphold quality standards.
• Skillfully transition from one task to another without losing efficiency or composure.
• Capable of multitasking across various systems depending on the client's work environment.
• Successfully complete all training sessions.
• Communicate effectively with patience and empathy.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor in all customer interactions.
• Be present at your desk, ensuring punctuality and attendance during all scheduled times.
• Uphold personal ethics, honesty, initiative, flexibility, responsibility, and confidentiality in all aspects.
• Willingness to cross-train as needed.
• Maintain the highest levels of confidentiality and security in line with Five Star Call Centers policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service or customer support.
• At least 1 year of prior experience in a call center or office setting is required.
• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Technologically savvy, capable of navigating multiple browsers and systems using dual monitors.
• Previous experience with Outlook, Word, and Excel is preferred.
• Familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.
• Prior experience working remotely from home is advantageous.
• Quick learner with the ability to work independently.
• Strong phone and verbal communication skills, along with active listening abilities.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• A background check and drug screening in accordance with state and federal laws is required.
• Must be proficient in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding English.
• Paid Training, typically lasting 3 weeks from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday (EST).
• Full-Time status with 40 hours per week, eligible for benefits on the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment.
