This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.
• In this position, you will take the initiative in addressing customer inquiries and concerns regarding all products and services through various communication channels such as phone, email, and chat.
• Efficiently manage a high volume of inbound calls in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently without a script while maintaining control of the call.
• Identify customer needs, clarify information, research solutions, and provide alternatives as necessary.
• Utilize company and client resources effectively to manage calls accurately.
• Recognize opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
• Actively engage in initiatives aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and maintaining quality standards.
• Transition smoothly between tasks without losing efficiency or composure.
• Exhibit the ability to juggle multiple systems according to the client's working environment.
• Successfully complete all training sessions.
• Communicate with patience and understanding.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor in all customer interactions.
• Ensure punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times, remaining available at your desk.
• Uphold personal ethics, honesty, initiative, flexibility, responsibility, and confidentiality in all areas.
• Demonstrate flexibility in cross-training as requested.
• Maintain the highest levels of confidentiality and security in accordance with Five Star Call Centers policies.
• Execute additional duties as assigned.
• Minimum of 1 year of customer service or customer support experience.
• At least 1 year of prior experience in a call center or office environment is required.
• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Technically adept, capable of switching between multiple browsers and systems using dual monitors.
• Previous experience with Outlook, Word, and Excel is preferred.
• Familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.
• Prior experience working remotely from home is a bonus.
• Quick learner, able to work independently.
• Strong phone and verbal communication skills, along with active listening abilities.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Background check and drug screening in compliance with state and federal laws are required.
• Must possess the ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Paid Training - typically lasting 3 weeks from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday (EST).
• Benefit eligibility begins on the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment.
