Customer Service Advisor – Trainee

📋 Description

• Acquires knowledge on addressing inquiries related to policies, coverages, and premiums; takes responsibility for thorough follow-up on all interactions.

• Learns to provide first-call resolution to simplify the customer experience.

• Gains skills in responding to customer and agent requests for quotes or modifications to current policies.

• Reviews cancellations and reinstatements, making suitable decisions to resolve issues with guidance.

• Ensures that all account notes are well-documented and up-to-date.

• Assists customers with straightforward intent calls.

• Accurately inputs and updates policy information in various processing systems and manages phone inquiries.

• Cultivates and nurtures relationships with Agents and the Company.

• Conducts research and initiates changes or corrections to customer policies in line with established procedures and sound business judgment.

• Aims to meet or exceed the expectations of customers and agents by delivering professional and efficient service through positive interactions and extensive product knowledge.

• Undertakes other duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred Resident Property and Casualty or Personal Lines Insurance License.

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution is advantageous.

• Prior experience in insurance and/or call center settings is preferred.

• Previous customer service experience is preferred.

• High energy and a strong motivation to follow up and take ownership.

• Flexibility and capability to work effectively under pressure.

• Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Willingness and ability to learn new functions within the Customer Solutions Center.

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
