This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Drive the expansion of company-owned NAPA Auto Parts locations, enhancing customer base, sales, and profitability.
• Promote the complete range of NAPA products and programs to wholesale clients.
• Collaborate with the local Store Manager to devise strategies aimed at boosting sales.
• Proactively initiate, contact, manage, and cultivate leads within the local area.
• Identify specific customer needs and align solutions with NAPA's offerings.
• Partner with manufacturer's representatives to enhance program offerings and increase customer awareness of product lines.
• Engage with customers and maintain their connection through NAPA's eSales initiatives.
• Conduct educational seminars, clinics, and presentations regarding NAPA product lines and services.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent service, including resolving issues, complaints, and inquiries either in person or over the phone.
• Set expectations, fulfill commitments, track performance metrics, and uphold accountability.
• Inspect, safeguard, and maintain company assets, merchandise, vehicles, facilities, and personnel.
• Previous experience in a retail environment or outside sales.
• At least 2 years of experience in a customer-oriented role.
• Capability to thrive in a quota-driven atmosphere.
• Fundamental selling skills, which include sales-call preparation, customer-meeting management, overcoming objections, closing sales, and maintaining accounts.
• Ability to present information effectively in group settings.
• Valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations within the past 4 years.
• Physical agility to bend to floor-level shelves and reach upper shelves up to eight feet using a stool or ladder as needed.
• Stamina to remain standing and walking throughout the entire work shift.
• Capacity to lift merchandise weighing up to 60 lbs.
• Strong verbal communication and attentive listening abilities.
• A bachelor's degree is preferred.
• A background in the automotive industry is advantageous.
