Customer Marketing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Take charge of post-sale marketing initiatives that enhance engagement, encourage product adoption, and boost retention across our customer base.

• Create lifecycle campaigns linked to significant customer milestones, including onboarding, feature adoption, renewal periods, and expansion opportunities.

• Leverage customer data and product usage indicators to segment the customer base and deliver timely, relevant communications.

• Collaborate with Customer Success to pinpoint at-risk accounts and support proactive retention strategies through targeted campaigns.

• Design and implement campaigns that generate expansion revenue, including upselling, cross-selling, and increasing seat counts within existing accounts.

• Work alongside Product Marketing to ensure customers recognize the benefits of new features and product enhancements.

• Oversee and enhance TD Academy, Time Doctor's customer education platform.

• Establish and manage Time Doctor’s customer advocacy program by identifying champions, fostering relationships, and engaging them as references, reviewers, and case study contributors.

• Develop and execute customer feedback initiatives (surveys, NPS, interviews) to gather insights that guide marketing strategy, product focus, and messaging.

• Serve as the primary marketing liaison with Customer Success for post-sale initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in customer marketing, lifecycle marketing, or a customer-centric B2B SaaS marketing position.

• Proven track record of developing and executing customer advocacy, retention, or expansion programs — rather than simply contributing to them.

• Strong grasp of customer journey mapping, lifecycle segmentation, and post-sale marketing strategies.

• Demonstrated experience using AI tools to enhance content creation, personalization, or campaign effectiveness — not merely familiarity, but active application in a professional setting.

• Practical experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms, with a strong preference for HubSpot experience.

• Capability to analyze customer data and product usage signals to guide targeting and program development.

• Exceptional written communication skills — able to craft emails that customers open, develop case studies that resonate, and create campaign briefs that align teams.

• Experience working collaboratively with Customer Success, Product, and Marketing teams.

• Familiarity with working in a remote or distributed team setting.

🏝️ Benefits

• Competitive salary along with 30+ days of paid time off.
