This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• The Customer Engineer will carry out minor repairs and replace components on Tier I equipment such as PCs, workstations and peripherals, printers, front-end POS systems, and perform First Line Maintenance on ATMs, kiosks, and single pocket proof encoders.
• The Customer Engineer will assist with site preparation, which includes cable installation, equipment staging, and basic equipment testing.
• The Customer Engineer may also conduct necessary modular swaps and unit replacements or provide preventative maintenance services.
• The Customer Engineer addresses all customer inquiries or issues by either resolving them or escalating to the appropriate associate, team member, territory manager, or the Control Tower.
• The Customer Engineer will take ownership of customer problems or incidents until they are resolved to the customer’s satisfaction and/or within the terms of the agreed-upon Service Level Agreement (SLA).
• A college degree or certificate in electronics or computer technology is preferred.
• Completion of one year of college-level courses, equivalent military training, or training in electronics or computer technology.
• One year of electronics or computer training at an accredited trade school, including both theoretical knowledge and hands-on practical experience.
• A+ Certification is required.
• Job-related experience with electronic or electromechanical devices is preferred, though not mandatory.
• Previous experience as an electronics bench or rework technician is advantageous.
• Valid Driver's License along with a cleared background check and drug screening.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, overtime, flex shifts, and on-call shifts is required.
