Customer Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the design, development, and execution of Google SecOps solutions, ensuring that architectures are in harmony with client objectives and their risk tolerance.

• Support Google Cloud Security initiatives by managing the technical components of solutions, conducting product briefings, proofs-of-concept (POCs), and demonstrations.

• Investigate and assess emerging technologies to enhance security architectures and contribute to the establishment of industry best practices.

• Collaborate with Security, Business, and Google Cloud teams to identify opportunities and formulate strategies to overcome technical or compliance challenges.

• Assist in pricing and commercial discussions, ensuring that technical solutions are feasible and accurately scoped.

• Offer technical guidance to clients and internal teams, sharing insights to empower others and promote project success.

• Engage with Project Managers, Customer Success, and Marketing teams to guarantee client satisfaction and organizational coherence.

• Remain informed about security trends and serve as a credible representative for Foresite's security practice in professional settings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) with 3+ years in security consulting, solutions architecture, or systems engineering in a cloud environment.

• Strong grasp of security principles (Firewalls, EDR, IAM) along with technical expertise in SIEM/SOAR, Threat Intelligence, and Cloud Security (CSPM, CWPP).

• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies and communicate effectively with both technical and executive audiences.

• Expert proficiency in utilizing AI systems to enhance workflows and exceptional attention to detail in technical documentation.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Google SecOps (Chronicle SIEM/Siemplify SOAR), Google Threat Intelligence, or the Mandiant Advantage platform is advantageous.

• Familiarity with AI model security (Model Armor), Managed Browser solutions (Chrome Enterprise), or CSPM tools like Wiz is beneficial.

• Relevant certifications in Cloud or Security and experience in the retail, healthcare, energy, or chemical sectors is a plus.

• Capability to create detailed network architecture diagrams to depict complex data flows and system layouts.
