This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the commercial management of warranty and claims processes for Offshore Wind supply and operations contracts.
• Manage customer expectations concerning warranty scope, entitlements, exclusions, remedies, and settlement results.
• Create and implement strategies for claims mitigation, refutation, negotiation, and resolution, particularly regarding Production Based Availability (PBA) and other relevant subjects.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Operations teams to facilitate root cause analysis, liability evaluation, and commercial positioning.
• Ensure that PBA impacts are minimized, in alignment with customer expectations and contractual obligations, while addressing discrepancies, clarifications, and resolution pathways in partnership with Operations and Engineering teams.
• Address and resolve intricate warranty issues with customers, insurers, and suppliers.
• Evaluate active SWA and TSA contracts to pinpoint warranty-related risks, liabilities, and commercial exposure.
• Assist in contract renegotiation and transition efforts to enhance risk distribution and margin predictability.
• Contribute to the formulation and standardization of warranty frameworks across SWA, TSA, and LTSA contract types.
• Develop negotiation tactics in collaboration with Site Operations and Sales leadership.
• Identify opportunities for change orders, claims recovery, and contractual optimization.
• Document lessons learned and integrate them into contract templates, risk tools, and inquiry-to-order (ITO) processes.
• Ensure that claims, notices, and contractual communications are managed within the necessary systems and governance processes.
• A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Law, or a related field.
• Experience in commercial management, contract management, claims, or risk management in the power, energy, or offshore wind sectors.
• Strong background in warranty administration, contract execution, and claims management, with proven capability to negotiate complex commercial issues with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence within a global matrix organization.
• Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in another European language is desirable.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across functions, regions, and cultures.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 30% of the time.
