Customer Care Specialist 1

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Serve as a Brand Ambassador for Nordstrom and/or Nordstrom Rack.

• Deliver exceptional customer service to clients nationwide during peak and scaled events.

• Address and resolve customer service inquiries and issues through incoming phone communications.

• Provide detailed service and product information to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Process orders and accurately enter data into the order entry system.

• Monitor and track customer packages.

• Execute additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months experience in a customer service-oriented setting, such as a contact center, retail, hospitality, or food and beverage (preferred).

• Capability to adhere to Nordstrom and Nordstrom Customer CARE work-from-home guidelines and expectations.

• Strong communication skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency.

• Familiarity with computer systems and the ability to troubleshoot issues with minimal support.

• Willingness to work a predetermined schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with mandatory overtime as required by business needs.

• Flexible scheduling during peak periods.

• A quiet, secure, and distraction-free home workspace.

• Capability to remain at a desk using a computer and headset for the entire shift, and to turn on the camera when requested by management.

• High-speed wired internet connection with a modem or router equipped with an Ethernet port; no cellular, satellite, or Wi-Fi internet connections allowed.
