This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.
• Drive profitable growth by spearheading national and regional customer relationships across C-Store, Grocery Deli, and Commissary Bakery clients in the Western United States.
• Take full ownership of commercial leadership for designated national accounts.
• Cultivate executive-level connections with decision-makers among assigned national and regional FS@R clients.
• Guide the development of customer strategies, including Joint Business Plans (JBPs), yearly growth plans, and long-term opportunity pipelines.
• Serve as the voice of the customer, converting insights into actionable strategies for categories, brands, and innovation.
• Maintain and oversee a comprehensive Salesforce pipeline (≥4x annual growth target) across Core, Innovation, and Custom solutions.
• Achieve documented new business wins and innovation launches across hot foods, prepared meals, bakery, and beverage categories.
• Collaborate with Brand, Commercial Development, and Culinary teams to deliver customer-ready, scalable solutions to the market.
• Direct pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and program development in collaboration with RGM and Finance.
• Ensure the timely and disciplined execution of pricing actions, promotional programs, and customer funding.
• Work cross-functionally with Brand, RGM, Supply Chain, Deployment, Finance, and the Business Solution Center (BSC) to guarantee flawless execution.
• Implement customer-specific initiatives, including seasonal programs, menu conversions, and regional launches.
• 8–10+ years of progressive sales experience in Foodservice, Foodservice at Retail, C-Store, or Grocery Deli sectors.
• Proven track record in managing national or large regional customer accounts.
• Strong understanding of pricing, contracts, forecasting, and pipeline management.
• Demonstrated capability to influence cross-functionally and externally at senior customer levels.
• Proficient in CRM tools, with Salesforce being preferred.
• Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication abilities.
• Preferred experience in engaging with C-Store, Grocery Deli, Bakery, or Commissary platforms.
• Familiarity with the retail and convenience landscapes in the Western U.S.
• Knowledge of category management and customer-led innovation.
• Bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree is a plus.
