CTO – Senior Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Develop and confirm the technical blueprint for cloud data warehousing, clean room infrastructure, embedding computing, and privacy measures.

• Take ownership of the data modeling strategy for extensive behavioral signals from various data sources and device types.

• Create the architecture for embeddings and a feature store that supports advertising, commerce, and AI applications.

• Lead the design of clean rooms and ensure adherence to relevant privacy regulations.

• Identify and address critical path obstacles across infrastructure, integrations, and identity resolution.

• Rigorously evaluate technical proposals against real-world scalability and operational intricacies.

• Act as a liaison between Blend’s engineering and data science teams and the senior technical stakeholders of the client.

• Engage in regular leadership discussions with the client’s commercial and product leadership teams.

• Represent a credible technical perspective during initial conversations with clients and partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in data or platform architecture.

• Expertise in real-time and batch data architecture.

• Knowledge of ML/AI systems and embeddings infrastructure.

• Familiarity with data privacy frameworks and compliance-by-design methodologies.

• Experience with clean rooms, DSPs, and SSPs.

• Background in consulting delivery or embedded partnership roles.
