📋 Description

• About Gnosis Pay: Gnosis Pay offers the API and card-program infrastructure that empowers wallets, fintech companies, and businesses to issue payment cards backed by stablecoins and design tailored payment flows.

• In your role as the CTO, you will guide the engineering team from an early-stage delivery model to a structured, scalable, and predictable product-engineering framework.

• Collaborate closely with C-level executives and other leaders to convert business goals into a detailed, multi-year technical roadmap.

• Set architectural guidelines and high-level design standards. Ensure our core payment services are highly available, secure, fault-tolerant, and perform efficiently on a global scale.

• Manage the incident response framework, disaster recovery strategies, and security protocols.

⛳️ Requirements

• Scale-Up Technical Leadership: A proven background as a CTO, VP of Engineering, or senior leader in a rapidly growing fintech, payments, or Web3 organization (preferably with 50–200+ employees).

• Deep Payments Domain Expertise: Practical experience in integrating with and managing card scheme rails (e.g., Visa/Mastercard).

• Strong Technical Foundation: Comprehensive conceptual and architectural knowledge of Go and TypeScript.

• Domain-Driven Design (DDD): Solid practical expertise in DDD, intricate data schemas, and backend refactoring or language migration projects in high-throughput settings.

• Web3 & Blockchain Literacy: Familiarity with Web3 infrastructure, smart contract interactions, self-custody wallets, and decentralized finance (DeFi) components.

• Exceptional Communication: An outstanding ability to convey complex technical concepts into clear, actionable business strategies for non-technical stakeholders, partners, and the executive board.
