Chief Technology Officer – CTO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Define and implement the organization's technology strategy.

• Oversee engineering, architecture, data, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and security.

• Build and nurture technical teams and functions within a growth-focused environment.

• Enhance the corporate architecture and digital platforms.

• Ensure the scalability, stability, and security of all environments.

• Drive initiatives related to Artificial Intelligence and automation.

• Formulate data strategy and establish information governance.

• Assist in the development of new digital platforms and products.

• Contribute to the strategic development of a future payments platform.

• Cultivate technical leaders and create succession plans.

• Implement technical standards, frameworks, and scalable processes.

• Ensure compliance, adherence to LGPD (Brazilian Data Protection Law), and effective risk management.

• Integrate technology, product, and business strategies.

• Support the organization's sustainable growth through technological advancements.

• Operate at both strategic and operational levels in alignment with business requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• An MBA, postgraduate degree, or Master's in Technology, Management, Innovation, or related fields is preferred.

• Demonstrated experience in executive technology leadership roles.

• Proven history of building and scaling technical teams effectively.

• Background in technology companies, SaaS, fintechs, or digital platforms.

• Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

• Advanced proficiency in AWS.

• Knowledge of distributed architecture, APIs, and microservices.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD, observability, and SRE.

• Expertise in information security, LGPD (Brazilian Data Protection Law), and compliance standards.

• Experience with relational databases, NoSQL, and event-driven architecture.

• Background in data engineering and data platforms.

• Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence and automation technologies.

• Ability to foster technical leadership within teams.

• Experience in developing digital products.

• Strong strategic vision paired with effective execution abilities.

• Executive-level communication skills and organizational influence.

• Experience in Open Finance, banking, or payments is a plus.

• Familiarity with multi-tenant and white-label platforms is advantageous.
