CTO – Co-founder, Robotics Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Collaborating with the commercial co-founder to manage the company, ensuring that technical strategies align with business objectives.

• Engaging in hands-on development and prototyping: Designing and constructing the MVP for the robotics automation platform.

• Defining the technical strategy: Establishing the tech stack, software and hardware architecture, as well as the product scalability roadmap.

• Driving R&D and innovation: Keeping abreast of trends in robotics, AI, and automation to maintain a competitive technological advantage.

• Building a team: Recruiting, guiding, and mentoring a small, agile group of exceptional engineers.

• Aligning product and technology: Converting customer insights and market demands into solid technical requirements.

• Fostering an engineering culture: Developing an internal ethos centered on code quality, ownership, rapid iteration, and high execution standards.

• Establishing infrastructure and security: Implementing internal development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring data security and compliance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years of leadership experience in startups or technology companies (such as Lead Engineer, Tech Lead, Architect, or CTO).

• At least 3+ years of practical experience working with robotics technologies (including ROS/ROS2, simulation environments, computer vision, or control systems).

• Solid software engineering foundation with a proven track record in building scalable platforms, products, or deep-tech architectures from the ground up.

• An entrepreneurial mindset – recognizing that pragmatic execution and rapid deployment take precedence over perfect, over-engineered code in an early-stage environment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-uncertainty settings.

• Proficiency in Polish and English (both spoken and written).
