This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more states.
• Develop and implement a long-term product strategy and roadmap that aligns with the company's growth objectives and market opportunities.
• Lead the creation of innovative, scalable solutions across global payroll, EOR, workforce management, and HR services.
• Foster a customer-focused product design approach utilizing data, insights, and client feedback.
• Establish frameworks for product governance, lifecycle management, and commercialization strategies.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure product-market fit and competitive positioning.
• Direct global engineering teams in delivering secure, scalable software platforms.
• Promote the adoption of cloud-native, API-first, and microservices architectures.
• Implement Agile/DevOps, CI/CD, and engineering excellence practices.
• Ensure the reliability, performance, and uptime of platforms serving over 56 countries.
• Oversee technical due diligence and integration for partnerships, acquisitions, and ecosystem growth.
• Direct internal IT strategy and enterprise systems, including HRIS, finance platforms, and collaboration tools.
• Guarantee cybersecurity, data privacy, and compliance across various regions.
• Define the data strategy and enhance AI/automation within products and internal operations.
• Lead transformation initiatives to modernize outdated systems and processes.
• Construct scalable operating models while promoting cost discipline and ROI-focused technology investments.
• Build and manage global Product, Engineering, and IT teams.
• Develop succession plans and strengthen leadership capabilities.
• Advise the CEO and Board on technology trends, risks, and investment priorities.
• Present product and technology strategy, roadmaps, and performance metrics to the Board.
• Represent Safeguard Global at client meetings, partner interactions, and industry forums.
• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in Engineering and Product management, including roles at the executive level.
• Established history of leading end-to-end SaaS/platform organizations on a global scale.
• Experience supervising both customer-facing products and internal IT operations.
• Strong knowledge of global workforce, HR technology, payroll, or related enterprise software ecosystems.
• Proven success in driving digital transformation and modernizing platforms.
• Experience managing distributed, multi-regional teams and navigating complex regulatory environments.
• Preferred experience in EOR, global payroll, or workforce management solutions.
• Background in integrating acquisitions or scaling during rapid growth phases.
• Familiarity with compliance requirements across the EU, APAC, and Americas.
