CSA Services Operations Finance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee all financial components of project accounting for HD Services CSA projects, encompassing project initiation, actuals booking, revenue recognition, manual journal entries, and reconciliations, along with CMRs and the monthly/quarterly closing and reporting for assigned contracts.

• Ensure that project financials adhere to GAAP and comply with statutory regulations as well as global accounting policies.

• Maintain a robust connection with Operations to verify contract data (project costs, invoicing), generate financial outputs, and communicate effectively with CPMs, CSLs, and the wider finance community.

• Support operations by endorsing credit notes, documenting bad debts, and managing bonus/liquidated damages.

• Review and reconcile periodic balance sheet accounts related to projects and prepare as well as present balance sheet reviews as necessary.

• Actively engage in contract handover reviews from Inquiry to Order (ITO) and Order to Remittance (OTR), including T&C clarifications, project setup, payment security, and hedging evaluations.

• Conduct Margin Review calculations and CONFIRM reconciliation.

• Download and prepare SONIC data as part of the pacing process for validation with Operations (CPMs).

• Possess in-depth knowledge of the pacing case to assist BU Finance in optimizing the case.

• Monitor intercompany transactions related to projects and collaborate with the central IBS team to resolve rejects and holds.

• Provide internal and external audit support concerning project accounting activities, balance sheets, and P&L as required.

• Collaborate with the Team Leader to identify opportunities for improvement and implement standardized processes and policies that promote a LEAN culture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or an equivalent international qualification.

• Extensive experience in Finance and/or Operations in progressively larger roles of responsibility.

• Sufficient experience with Financial Systems and Data.

• Proficiency in English.
